THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.8606 OF 2016 O R D E R :

Heard counsel for the petitioner and the Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

2. Petitioner's grievance is that the respondents are not mutating his name with revenue records, in spite of the fact that he has made representation on 03.01.2016 to the 4th respondent for the said purpose.

3. The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that the petitioner ought to apply in Form 6-A prescribed under the A.P.Rights in Lands and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971(for short 'the Act'), for the purpose of mutation with supporting documentation.

4. In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to make an application for mutation in Form 6-A prescribed under the Act with supporting documents and if such application is made, the 4th respondent shall consider the same, within a period of four (04) weeks of its receipt and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
