Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents. 2.

This Writ Petition is filed alleging that even though crime No.23 of 2014 was registered, there was no further progress and investigation was not completed.

Learned Government Pleader for Home submits that on completion of investigation, final report was filed before the Court of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Huzurnagar, on 24.01.2015 praying to refer the case as 'false'. It was also stated in the said report that notice was served on the complainant informing the result of the investigation.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no such notice was served on the petitioner earlier and the same was served only after the Writ Petition is filed. 5.

Since the final report was already filed before the competent Court, it cannot be said that the police are negligent in investigating the case. If the petitioner is not satisfied with the final report filed by the police, it is open to him to work out appropriate remedies as available in law.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
