THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4245 OF 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioners-accused Nos.1 to 3 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.23 of 2016 on the file of Etcherla Colony Police Station, Srikakulam District.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The offences alleged against the petitioners are punishable under Sections 307, 448, 324 and 506 r/w.34 IPC. It is alleged that the petitioners attacked the de facto complainant with an iron knife and caused grievous injuries. Since the allegations levelled against the petitioners are serious in nature, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings against them.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J March 29, 2016.
