The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and to that effect he addressed a letter dated 26.02.2018 to the Registry. Permission is accorded.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
