ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the writ petition was dismissed against the contesting 2nd respondent vide order dated 30-12-2010. Since then, the petitioner has not taken any steps to restore the writ petition against the 2nd respondent. In the absence of the 2nd respondent, the writ petition cannot be adjudicated on merits. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
