THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE MS JUSTICE J.UMA DEVI Writ Appeal No.331 of 2018 JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) This appeal, under Clause 15 of the Letters Patent, is preferred against the order passed by the Learned Single Judge in W.P.No.45558 of 2016 dated 27.04.2017.
A common order was passed in W.P.Nos.14072, 45558 of 2016 and 13559 of 2017 on 27.04.2017. W.A.No.47 of 2018 was filed against the order passed by the Learned Single judge in W.P.No.14072 of 2016 dated 27.04.2017; and a Division Bench of this Court had, by its order dated 24.01.2018, disposed of the writ appeal setting aside the order under appeal to the limited extent the officials, functioning under the Legal Services Authorities Act, were directed by the Learned Single Judge to be included in the State Security Commission and the Police Complaints Authority respectively. The Division Bench had granted two months' time to the appellant to comply with the directions in the writ petition, and to constitute both the State Security Commission and the Police Complaints Authority in terms of the directions of the Supreme Court in Prakash Singh vs. Union of India1.
Following the order passed in W.A.No.47 of 2018 dated 24.01.2018, and in terms thereof, this Writ Appeal is also disposed of. The appellants shall, within two months from today, comply with the directions in W.P.No.45558 of 2016 dated 27.04.2017 as indicated hereinabove, and constitute both the State Security Commission and the Police Complaints Authority in terms of the directions of the Supreme Court in Prakash Singh1.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
