HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Writ Petition No.45978 of 2016 O R D E R :

The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a writ or order, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents 3 & 4 in opening the rowdy sheet against the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary and consequently set aside the same by directing the respondents to close the rowdy sheet against the petitioner.

Heard and perused the material available on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to make a representation to respondents 3 and 4 seeking to close the rowdy-sheet opened against him and on such representation, the authority concerned is directed to pass appropriate orders within a period of two months.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
