THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No. 1228 OF 2013 O R D E R:

Sri J. Sammaiah, Chief Engineer, Operation & Maintenance of Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS), Paloncha, who has been impleaded as the respondent in his eo nominee capacity in this Contempt Case is present today, pursuant to the notice issued on 26.06.2015.

It is now informed that after the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh State Reorganization Act, 2014 have been given effect to, Sri Sammaiah has been relieved from the post of Chief Engineer at KTPS and he has now been posted to Andhra Pradesh State Generation Corporation Limited and consequently, he ceased to have any administrative control or connection with the affairs of KTPS. In that view of the matter, the respondent, who has been impleaded in his eo nominee capacity is discharged from this Contempt Case. However, the petitioner shall take appropriate measures for prosecuting the incumbent responsible, for implementation of the judgment rendered by this Court. With this, the Contempt Case is dismissed.

Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall also stand dismissed.
