THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.8864 of 2015 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed by the petitioner - Accused under Section 438 of Criminal Procedure Code seeking to grant bail in Crime No.239 of 2014 on the file of I-Town Police Station, Anantapuram District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 506 IPC.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegation against the petitioner is that on the pretext that he would arrange loan of Rs.25.00 crores to the de facto complainant, the petitioner received a huge amount of Rs.1.30 crores, towards expenses, from the de facto complainant and when the de facto complainant tried to contact him, he is postponing the matter by giving evasive answers.

Since the allegations against the petitioner are so serious in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J September 07, 2015.
