This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner to direct the Special Judge for ACB Cases, Karimnagar, to dispose of Crl.M.P.No.830 of 2017 in C.C.No.32 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible.

Heard both sides. Perused the record.

Crl.M.P.No.830 of 2017 was filed for return of the property said to be belonging to the deceased/ accused. It appears from the record that the said petition was filed on 01.11.2017 but so far it has not been disposed of.

The learned Special Public Prosecutor would contend that the said petition is required to be disposed of in terms of the law applicable to the disproportionate cases. It is pertinent to state that since the accused officer died, the petitioner herein being his wife has right to take steps for expeditious disposal of Crl.M.P.No.830 of 2017. No opinion by this Court with regard to the merits of the said M.P. is expressed herein. In view of the circumstances narrated by both sides, the Special Court is directed to dispose of Crl.M.P.No.830 of 2017 in C.C.No.32 of 2015 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in accordance with law. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ DR.
