ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus, by directing respondent No.5 to produce Patan Ghouse Khan, s/o Khaja Khan (for short, 'the alleged detenu') before this Court and set him at liberty.

Respondent No.6 filed counter affidavit wherein he has inter alia averred that the alleged detenue is accused No.1 in Crime No.35 of 2018 registered for the offences under Sections 420, 468, 471, 409 read with 34 IPC on 06.02.2018 of Thulluru Police Station, Guntur District; that the Inspector of Police, Thulluru, who is the Investigation Officer, arrested the alleged detenu on the evening of 19.02.2018 near the NTR Statue Centre, RTC Bus Stand, seized Rs.1,15,000/- cash from his house and he was produced in the Court of Additional Junior Civil Judge, Mangalagiri on 20.02.2018 who remaned the alleged detenu to judicial custody and that, in pursuance of the remand order, the alleged detenu is lodged in District Jail, Guntur, on the same day i.e., 20.02.2018.

The facts in this counter affidavit have not been disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In the light of the above, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.
