Heard Sri K.Srinivas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri M.S.R. Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent-Project Director, District Water Management Corporation, Anantapuram.

2. The petitioner is a Field Assistant.

He was suspended from service by order dated 11-02-2015 on the ground that he has not been discharging the duties properly. Against the said order, the present writ petition is

filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the suspension order does not indicate the grounds on which the suspension order was made.

4. On the other hand, the learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent would submit that on the ground that the petitioner was not discharging duties properly, suspension order was passed and a separate Show Cause Notice was issued levelling specific allegations for which the petitioner did not offer any explanation.

5. Since a decision on the issues raised requires adducing evidence, the 3rd respondent-Project Director is directed to initiate an enquiry into the allegations levelled against the petitioner and complete the same within a period of 30 days and pass appropriate orders, failing which the suspension order dated 11-02-2015 shall stand revoked. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
