THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.17020 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.'), is filed to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.81 of 2016 of Wyra Police Station, Khammam District, registered against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 427, 294(b) and 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short, 'I.P.C.') and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989 on various grounds.

During hearing, learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana represented that entire investigation was completed and filed charge sheet on 24.11.2016 before the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Madhira.

Therefore, the cause shown in the criminal petition has become infructuous.

In the result, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, in view of filing of charge sheet, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the proceedings at any appropriate stage.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
