HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.6092 OF 2019 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice V. Ramasubramanian) The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking a mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to serve a copy of the order of assessment passed under the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956 in relation to the assessment order 2012-13.

2. Heard Mr. S. Suribabu, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. M. Govind Reddy, learned special standing counsel for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, the order was not served, but a demand notice was issued. It made representations for issue of the certified copy of the order. But, copies have not been issued.

4. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is ordered directing the 1st respondent to furnish a copy of the order of assessment within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, it will be open to the petitioner to workout its remedies. To enable the petitioner to receive a copy of the order and to enable it to file a statutory appeal, within thirty (30) days thereafter, the impugned garnishee notice is suspended for a period of eight (8) weeks. In the meantime, the 1st respondent shall furnish a copy and the petitioner may move an appeal for appropriate reliefs. No order as to costs.

VRSJ & PKR,J WP No.6092 of 2019 As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, in the writ petition stand closed.
