ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the eviction notices dated 28.02.2019 issued by the 6th respondent alleging that the petitioners are cultivating the lands by encroaching upon the reserve forest area in contravention of the provisions of Section 20(1)(C)(VII) of the Telangana Forest Act, 1967 (for short 'the Act'). 2.

Inasmuch as Sub-Sections (3) and (4) of Section 20 of the Act provides that before taking any action, the officer concerned shall give an opportunity to the person affected to make any representation against the action proposed, I deem it appropriate to grant liberty to the petitioners to file their objections in response to the impugned notices, and on filing such objections, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, before taking any action against the petitioners. However, it is made clear that the respondents shall strictly adhere to the provisions prescribed under the Act.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
