THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.32945 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in returning the EMD amount of Rs.12.00 lakhs deposited by the petitioner in response to tender notification No.119/2016, dated 02.8.2016 issued by the third respondent as illegal and arbitrary.

At the time of hearing, learned Government Pleader for Endowments, on instructions, submitted that EMD amount was released in favour of the petitioner today. The learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly admitted the same. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for both the parties, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. 3.
