S. Venkat Swamy Goud, v. The State Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.41010 of 2015 ORDER:
By way of this writ petition, a challenge is laid to the show cause notice dated 12.11.2015 whereby the petitioner's licence was also suspended while asking him to show cause as to why the same should not be cancelled.
Learned Government Pleader for Excise however informed this Court that by proceedings dated 01.12.2015, the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent, Gadwal, cancelled the petitioner's licence after considering the reply submitted by the petitioner in response to the show cause notice.
In that view of the matter, the challenge in this writ petition to the show cause notice is rendered infructuous and the writ petition deserves to be dismissed on this short ground. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. This order shall however not preclude the petitioner from seeking appropriate remedies in accordance with law, if he is aggrieved by the subsequent proceedings dated 01.12.2015 of the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent, Gadwal.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
