On the assurance given by the respondents, petitioners intend to withdraw the writ petition to pursue their claim for payment of retirement benefits including commutation.

2. Having regard to the above, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The petitioners are granted liberty to avail appropriate remedy, if their claim is not settled. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
