THE HON' BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No.978 of 2019 ORDER:

Taking into consideration the grievance of the petitioners in W.P.No.36163 of 2018, this Court by order dated 08.11.2018 directed the respondent-police authorities to complete the investigation and file report before this Court. Alleging non-compliance of the said order, this Contempt case is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, and the learned Government Pleader for Home Department.

In compliance of the directions of this Court, dated 08.11.2018, final report dated 28.03.2019 has been filed before the XXII Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, at Medchal, Cyberabad, and a copy of the same is placed before this Court. In other words, the order dated 08.11.2018 has been complied with, and therefore, nothing survives in this contempt case. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed. However, if the petitioners have any grievance with respect to the final report dated 28.03.2019, they are entitled to espouse their grievance in appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
