THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT Criminal Petition No.6739 of 2013 O R D E R:

Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek direction thereby to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.126 of 2013 on the file of the I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Warangal and consequently discharge them from the proceedings. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that during the pendency of this petition, the petitioners and respondent No.2/ complainant have resolved all the disputes and consequently respondent No.2 does not want to pursue the case against the petitioners.

The 2nd respondent is personally present in the Court with her counsel. For her identification, she has produced original Adhar Card issued by the Government of India vide No.431553601227 and the same has been seen and returned to her. She states that the matter has been resolved with the petitioners, nothing remained due and if the petition is allowed, she has no objection. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the parties and the statement of the 2nd respondent, I hereby quash the proceedings in C.C.No.126 of 2013 in F.I.R.No.6 of 2013 registered by Women Police Station, Warangal (U) for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 420 I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Accordingly, the criminal petition is allowed in terms of the compromise.
