This petition is filed, under Section 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code, seeking grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 2.

Heard the counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The counsel for the petitioners submits that no crime is as yet registered, however, the petitioners apprehend that they would be arrested based on the report given by the defacto complainant. He further submits that a similar report was given by the defacto complainant before the Khammam Women Police Station and a crime was registered and in that case also the petitioners had filed similar petition for bail.

Hence, going by the above facts, this Court does not find that the apprehension of the petitioners, that they would be arrested, is well founded.

Hence, the criminal petition is dismissed. However, a direction can be given to the Police, if they propose to register a crime based on the aforesaid report, to follow the guidelines in of ARNESH KUMAR v .
