SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITON No.1908 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed seeking for modification of the order passed by the XVI Additional District and Sessions Judge-cumXVI Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at Malkajgiri in Crl.M.P.No.4887 of 2017 in Crime No.401 of 2017, registered on the file of Keesara Police Station, Rachakonda, alleged for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 506 and 328 r/w 109 of IPC.

Heard the counsel for the petitioners and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that the Station House Officer, Keesara Police Station, is insisting for cash surety of Rs.50,000/- and hence, he seeks modification of the order, permitting him to surrender before the concerned court. But the said modification is not required. It would suffice to make it clear, that cash surety need not be insisted by the Station House Officer and that surety in the form of any immovable property also can be accepted.

Hence, with the above said clarification, this criminal petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed. _____________ T.RAJANI, J 21.02.2018 SS
