This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ A.1 to A.5 to quash FIR No.53 of 2018 dated 27.12.2018 of Egalpenta Police Station, Nagarkurnool District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323 and 509 read with 34 of IPC. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 to A.5, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing respondent No.1/ State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 to A.5 would contend that there are no allegations against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.5 constituting the offences punishable under Sections 323 and 509 read with 34 of IPC. All the contents of FIR are false. A.1 made complaint against the de facto complainant and others. As a counter blast, this criminal case is foisted and ultimately, he prayed to allow the petition.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing respondent No.1/ State opposed the grant of bail to the petitioners/ A.1 to A.5 and contended that there are ingredients constituting the aforementioned offences against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.5 and ultimately, prayed to dismiss the petition.

As per the First Information Report, dated 27.12.2018 lodged by the victim viz., M.Vijaya Lakshmi, there are allegations

of abusing and beating her by all the petitioners. Therefore, there are no grounds to quash the proceedings as prayed for. 6.
