THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.34739 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to proceed with the investigation in Crime No.448 of 2016 and take action against the accused therein.

The grievance of the petitioner is that on a private complaint filed by him against the 4th respondent, the Magistrate concerned forwarded the same to the 3rd respondent under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C. and thereupon, though the 3rd respondent registered a case in Crime No.448 of 2016 on 2.6.2016 for the offences under Sections 420 and 506 IPC, so far no steps have been taken.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner, the 3rd respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.448 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law, within a period of six months from today. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _________________ RAJA ELANGO,J 17.10.2016.
