Heard Sri Nooka Jagannadham, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri O.Manoher Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

2. Originally, an industry by name M/s. Sree Durga

Industry was situated in Shed No.21/B Part, Phase-II, IDA, Cherlapally, Ghatkesar Mandal, Ranga Reddy district. The industry represented by D.Suresh Reddy entered into H.T. Agreement dated 04-4-2012 with the 1st respondent for supply of electricity to their manufacturing unit.

Subsequently, M/s. Sree Durga Industry, represented by D.Suresh Reddy, executed a Lease Deed dated 03-01-2013 in favour of the petitioner.

The petitioner having obtained the lease applied for change of the name of H.D. consumer on 03-01-2013 from M/s. Sree Durga Industries to M/s. Sai Durga Industries and accordingly the name was changed vide proceedings dated 08-01-2013.

Thereafter, the petitioner applied for shifting of the power supply from the old address i.e. Shed No.21/B, Phase II, IDA, Cherlapally, Hyderabad to the petitioner's new premises in Plot No.23, Shed No.3, Phase II, IDA, Cherlapally, Hyderabad. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner is entitled for the electricity connection in respect of the new premises, the respondents have not provided power supply to the new premises nor did they give electricity connection to the said unit but demanding the monthly consumption charges as per the agreement.

3. The petitioner in the aforesaid circumstances, submitted an application dated 30-12-2014 seeking waiver of minimal charges levied for restoration and to consider his request for providing electricity connection.

So far, according to the petitioner, no action has been taken by the respondents on the application submitted by the petitioner.

4. Under these circumstances, the respondents are directed to consider the application dated 30-12-2014 submitted by the petitioner whereunder he sought for waiver of minimal charges for restoration and to provide electricity connection to the new premises within a period of 4 (four) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
