This writ petition was filed for the following relief: "to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not considering the candidature of petitioner to provide a seat in MBBS under NCC reserved category and selecting respondent No.4 for the seat in MBBS in NCC reserved category is arbitrary and illegal and consequently direct the respondents to provide a seat in MBBS under NCC category in the alternative, to provide a seat in MBBS out of the left over seats in MBBS Course."

In view of the relief sought for in the writ petition and also in view of the dismissal of interim application, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
