This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ accused, seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.12 of 2018 on the file of Mirchowk Police Station, Hyderabad District, registered for the offences under Section 370 of I.P.C. and Section 4 of The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondentState and perused the record. 3 .

Having argued for some time, when the dictation of the order commenced, the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused sought permission to withdraw this Criminal Petition. As seen from the record, there are specific and grave allegations against the petitioner/ accused with regard to subjecting the de-facto complainant, who is her daughter, to sexual intercourse with one person by name Moiz Sharif. There are also bundle of allegations against the petitioner/ accused. There are no merits in the Criminal Petition. Hence, it is not appropriate to allow this Criminal Petition. However, since the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused sought permission to withdraw this Criminal Petition, permission is accorded.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
