The grievance of the petitioner in this case was that the Station House Officer, Sanathnagar Police Station, Hyderabad, was interfering with the civil dispute pending between her and one K. Krishnamachary, the 4th respondent, in respect of certain land situated at Avanthinagar, Balanagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. The Inspector of Police, Sanathnagar Police Station, Cyberabad, filed a counter-affidavit stating that the 4th respondent herein lodged a complaint on 18.03.2011 against the petitioner. Thereupon, an entry was made in the General Diary and the matter was enquired into. However, it came to light that civil suits were

pending between the parties and accordingly, the police authorities advised the parties to approach the Court concerned for redressal of their grievances, if any. The Inspector denied the petitioner's allegation that the police authorities had interfered in the civil dispute or with the construction activity of the petitioner. The other allegations made by the petitioner in this regard were also denied. Reference was made to the instructions issued by the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, to all the police stations not to interfere in civil disputes. The Inspector categorically stated that there was no interference on their part in the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the 4th respondent. He concluded by stating that except receiving the complaint made by the 4th respondent and enquiring into the matter, no further steps were taken by the police.

No reply was filed by the petitioner rebutting the afore-stated counter averments.

In the light of the clear stand put forth by the police authorities in the counteraffidavit, the allegations of the petitioner are demonstrated to be without basis. The writ petition is accordingly closed taking on record the stand of the police authorities concerned.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
