HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 14800 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A2 & A3 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 502 of 2014 on the file of First Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Warangal, Warangal District, registered for the offences under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 (Crime No. 150 of 2013 of WPS, Warangal Urban).

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 4.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, WPS, Warangal, Warangal City and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 30.6.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 502 of 2014 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
