Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner seeks to challenge demand notice, dated 14.09.2015, issued by the Deputy Transport Commissioner, Medak District at Sangareddy, whereby the concerned authority has demanded tax of Rs.43,040/-. From bare perusal of the prayer made in the writ petition, it is clear that the second respondent has demanded additional tax, which, according to learned Government Pleader for Transport appearing for the respondents, is levied under Section 3-A of the Andhra Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1963 (for short the Act). This order/demand is appealable under Section 12 of the Act. In view thereof, we are not inclined to enter into merits of the case. We are disposing of the writ petition relegating the petitioner to remedy of appeal under Section 12 of the Act. All contentions of the petitioner are kept open.
