The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under: 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an order, writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the Respondents in conducting survey of the lands in the lawful ownership and possession of the Petitioner admeasuring Ac.1-03 guntas, in Sy.No.1352, situated at Ponnal Village and Grampanchayat, Siddipet, Siddipet District is illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the provisions of the Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to conduct survey of land of the Petitioner and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.'

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner had already made an application in the prescribed format by way of a F-line petition and also paid the requisite fee.

Having received such an application, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Siddipet Mandal, Siddipet District, to remain somnolent. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Siddipet Mandal, Siddipet District, to take appropriate action pursuant to the F-line petition dated 04.02.2019 expeditiously and in any event, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
