Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Mr. V. Raghu, learned counsel for the petitioners at the outset invites our attention to the orders dated 26.03.2007 and 06.03.2007 passed in W.P.No.12268 of 2002 and batch and in W.P.No.4172 of 2003 and batch respectively, and submits that the instant writ petition is squarely covered by the said orders, and it can be disposed of in terms thereof. Learned counsel for the respondent does not dispute the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners.

We have perused the orders dated 26.03.2007 and 06.03.2007 in the aforementioned two batches of writ petitions. Having regard to the nature of challenge raised in the writ petition, we are satisfied that the present writ petition is also squarely covered by the order dated 06.03.2007 passed in W.P.No.4172 of 2003 and batch.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of in terms of the said order. The petitioners are directed to make representations in terms of the said order within a period of two weeks from today. The respondent shall consider the petitioners' representations and dispose them of by speaking order, within a period of six weeks therefrom.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
