Respondents The Court made the following:

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.29091 OF 2017 ORDER:

Heard.

2.

The grievance of the petitioner in this case is even though he submitted an application dated 16.12.2016 for appointing him as notary, the same is not acted upon and no decision is taken so far. 3.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by the learned counsel for parties that the subject matter of the Writ Petition is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in M. Mallareddy v. State of Andhra Pradesh1, wherein the impugned memo was set aside.

4.

In view of the fact that this Court has already considered the issue in question in M. Mallareddy, there cannot be any impediment in consideration of the petitioner's application for grant of notary license.

5.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the application dated 16.12.2016 submitted by the petitioner for grant of notary license as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
