THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.21023 of 2013 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following relief:
"to issue Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the representation/ objections made by the petitioners on 27-06-2013/ 06-07-2013, and in seeking to grant permission to Vijay Karan Degree College run by Icynergy Educational Society or any other educational institution from Sarrornagar Mandal to Ibrahimpatnam Mandal in Ranga Reddy District, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional by further direction the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation/objections made by the petitioners on 06-07-2013 before considering the proposals for shifting of colleges from Sarrornagar Mandal to Ibrahimpatnam Mandal in Rangareddy District."
When the matter is taken up for hearing, written remarks of Deputy Registrar (Academic) have been placed on record by Sri Deepak Bhattacharjee, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.3.
In the said instructions it is stated that the Secretary, Vijay Karan's Degree College through their letter, dated 02-07-2014 has informed the University that the Management of the college has decided to withdraw the shifting proposal and continue the college in the same premises i.e., above SHB, L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad.
In fact, a copy of the letter, dated 02-07-2014 addressed by Vijay Karan's Degree College to the Registrar, Administrative Building, Osmania University, Hyderabad is also placed on record.
In view of the above, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
