THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.7657 of 2016 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is in relation to rejection of his nomination for election to the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation. In terms of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955, an efficacious remedy is provided by way of an election petition. The writ petition is therefore not maintainable and is accordingly dismissed as such. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
