Heard.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of certiorari calling for records in case No.D1/37/97 on the file of first respondent and quash the order in the said case. At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners passed away. Further, the first petitioner also filed W.P.No.11225 of 2016 seeking same relief. The legal representatives of the first petitioner filed L.R. petition in W.P.No.11225 of 2016. It is also submitted that there are no legal representatives to the second petitioner. In view of the above, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that it would be sufficient if W.P.No.11225 of 2016 alone be heard, abating the present writ petition. The said submission is not disputed by the respondents. Recording the above submission, the writ petition is accordingly dismissed as abated. No costs.
