HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 25857 of 2003 ORDER:

The petitioner is seeking graduation increments. He contends that appropriate orders may be passed directing the respondents to release graduation increments. 2.

The learned Standing Counsel for the respondentCorporation submits that the issue whether the APSRTC employees, who are eligible for graduation increment, are to be extended the said benefit or not was considered in I.D.No.38 of 2001, by the Industrial Tribunal, and the learned Tribunal held vide orders, dated 23.03.2007 that the Conductors/Booking clerks recruited with Graduation qualification on or after 24.04.1982 are not eligible for additional increments i.e., graduation increments, and that since the petitioner herein was recruited during the year 1988, he is not entitled for additional increments for possessing graduation qualification. 3.

In view of the above submission, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
