This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking the Court to enlarge the petitioner who is arrayed as accused No.33 in Crime No.02 of 2025 of Cyberabad Narcotics Police Station, TG-Anti-Narcotics Bureau, on bail, the present Criminal Petition is filed.

The brief facts of the case are that on 07.07.2025, Inspector P. Ramesh Reddy of the TG Anti-Narcotic Bureau, Cyberabad Police Station, received credible information that one Surya Annamaneni, owner of Malnadu Restaurant in Kompally, was in possession of narcotic drugs and would arrive at his restaurant between 1900 and 1930 hours in a TATA Scorpio vehicle bearing No. TS08JM2022. Basing on this, the inspector and his team intercepted the said vehicle, took Surya into custody, and interrogated him. Surya confessed to carrying drugs in the vehicle, and in the presence of mediators, his confession was recorded. A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 3.2 grams of OG Weed (Ganja) and 1.6 grams of Ecstasy pills from the dickey, and 10 grams of Cocaine concealed in a woman's right leg chappal kept inside a cardboard box.

Heard Sri Azaz Ahmed, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as Sri M. Ramachandra Reddy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as accused No.33 and is innocent, having no connection with the alleged offence. The quantity involved in this case falls under intermediate quantity. The petitioner has been in jail since 10.01.2026. He further submitted that the material part of the investigation has been completed. Therefore, he prayed to the Court to grant bail to the petitioner by allowing this criminal petition. 5.
On the other hand, learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner stating that the petitioner is a drug peddler. He further submitted that the investigation is in progress and if the petitioner is released on bail, at this stage, he may tamper with the evidence and may threaten the witnesses. Hence, he prayed the Court to dismiss the criminal petition. 6.
In the light of the submissions made by both the learned counsel and a perusal of the material available on record, since the seized contraband is of intermediate quantity, the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 10.01.2026, and the material part of the investigation has
already been completed, this Court deems it fit to grant bail to the petitioner, subject to the following conditions: i.
The petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only), with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judicial First Class Magistrate-Cum-V Additional Junior Civil Judge-Cum-V Additional Judicial Magistrate, at L. B. Nagar.
ii.
The petitioner shall appear before the concerned SHO at 11:00 a.m., on every Monday for a period of eight (8) week or till filing of charge sheet whichever is earlier, for the purpose of investigation, and thereafter, as and when required.
iii.
The petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated in Section 437(3)
of Cr.P.C.(presently, Section 480(3) of the BNSS).

Accordingly, the Criminal petition is allowed. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
