THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.27081 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of respondents in not releasing the power supply to the petitioner's building situated in plot No.105 in survey No.78, Madapur Village, Sherilingampalli Mandal, Hyderabad.

It is stated that by learned Government Pleader for Energy the power supply is not released due to non-production of Occupancy Rights Certificate by the petitioner. But, in identical cases, this Court directed the respondents 2 and 3 to release the power supply to the authorisedly constructed building without insisting for production of Occupancy Rights Certificate.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to produce the Occupancy Rights Certificate within three (03) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and in the meanwhile, the respondents shall release power supply to the petitioner's building. In the event of not producing the Occupancy Rights Certificate within the time stipulated, it is left open to the respondents to take appropriate steps for disconnection of power supply.
