HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT PETITION No. 12545 OF 2015 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) The parents of Manupati Santhi have filed this Habeas Corpus petition seeking her production alleging her illegal detention by respondent No.5.

Respondent No.5, in the cause title, is shown as 17 years old boy. As far as Manupati Santhi is concerned, we have perused the original documents, produced by her showing her age. It appears that she is 22 years old. According to her, even respondent No.5 is 22 years old. She produced his pan card for our perusal. He was also present in the Court. We asked her whether she knows why her parents have filed the instant writ petition? She said yes. She also said that she is not illegally detained, as alleged, and she desires to live with respondent No.5 - husband. In short, she categorically stated that she would not like to go with the petitioners, who are present in the Court. In the circumstances, we find no merit in the writ petition. Petition is dismissed.
