This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner-accused seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.152 of 2014 of Kazipet Police Station, Warangal District, registered for the offences under Section 506 I.P.C., Sections 3(1)(x) and (2)(vii) of the S.Cs. and S.Ts. (POA) Act and Section 156(3) Cr.P.C.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner-accused and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondent-State, apart from perusing the material on record.

This Court was pleased to grant interim order on 03.08.2017 staying further investigation including the arrest of the petitioner-accused for a period of six weeks and thereafter, the said order is extended. Learned counsel for the petitioner-accused would submit that no incident took place, as alleged by respondent No.2-de facto complainant. This petitioner-accused is implicated in this case when he was working as Circle Inspector of Kazipet Circle, Warangal District. The truth or otherwise is required to be established after due investigation. Under these circumstances, the Investigating Officer shall not arrest the petitioner-accused in this crime and proceed with investigation and file charge sheet.
