Petitioner claims that her father was the owner of land to an extent of Ac.52.20 guntas in Sy.No.261, in Annaram Village, Junnaram Mandal, Medak District and the said property was gifted to the petitioner as Sthridhana. Petitioner is aggrieved by entering the names of third parties in revenue records who were no way concerned with the family. Aggrieved by the entries made by the Tahsildar, petitioner preferred appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), Medak Division, Medak District, subsequently transferred to Sanga Reddy Division, in Appeal No.A3/252/2017.

The grievance of the petitioner necessiating institution of this writ petition is that her appeal is not disposed of even after two years causing hardship and suffering.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the present petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to pass orders on the pending appeal by the RDO.

Having regard to this statement, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sanga Reddy Division (3rd respondent), to examine the appeal filed by the petitioner and after affording due opportunity to the petitioner as well as 5th respondent, pass appropriate orders as warranted by law, by assigning due reasons in support of his decision. A decision shall be taken and

- 3 - communicated to the petitioner within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
