HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.41006 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to direct the 4th respondent to register the complaint.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated in the affidavit that the petitioner started construction of the compound wall in her plots by engaging labour. While the construction is going on, some persons came to the plots in question and dismantled the wall highhandedly. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the police. But they have not taken any action so far. 4.

Considering the circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

"The 4th respondent is directed to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 23.11.2016, if it discloses any cognizable offence and proceed in accordance with law. If the 4th respondent fails to do so, she is at liberty to approach the superior officers or to avail the remedies that are available under the Code of Criminal Procedure."

No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
