HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.14731 of 2017 ORDER:
In this writ petition, the petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not paying the Statutory Exgratia to her for the death of her husband - late Maddi Mallaiah due to the electric shock as per the Departmental Policy of the respondents - Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TSNPDCL), issued vide N.O.O. (CS) Rt.No.390, dated 20.09.2013, even after a lapse of more than two years, as arbitrary and illegal.

Heard Sri P. Raghavendra Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as Sri Zakir Ali Danish, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondents - TSNPDCL and perused the material on record.

According to the petitioner, her husband - late Maddi Mallaiah met with a fatal electrical accident on 08.04.2014 and died instantly due to the said electric shock, while the deceased inadvertently touched the stay-wire to which power supply is passed.

The material available on record discloses that for redressal of her grievance, though the petitioner has
AVSS,J W.P.No.14731 of 2017 submitted a representation dated 19.01.2017 to the respondents, no action has been taken till date. 5.
Having heard learned counsel for the respective parties, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 19.01.2017 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
