HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.20875 OF 2004 ORDER :

The petitioner is challenging the orders dated 20.05.2002 of respondents wherein the punishment of reversion and also the punishment of stoppage of one increment with cumulative effect was imposed. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation during the pendency of Writ Petition. The learned Counsel for the petitioner further submits that this Writ Petition may be disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents seeking modification of the punishment of stoppage of one increment with cumulative effect to that of without cumulative effect. 2.

This Court having considered the said submission of the counsel for the petitioner is of the considered view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to make a representation to the respondents within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon such representation being received, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders in accordance with rules.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. 4.
