HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.13445 of 2013 ORDER:

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus to declare the action of the respondent No.4 police herein in summoning the petitioners to the P.S. W.P.S. C.C.S. Hyderabad, time and again and extending threats to implicate the petitioners and their family members in false criminal cases without there being any complaint and any crime registered against the petitioners as arbitrary, illegal, unjust and violative of Articles 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondent No.1 and 2 herein to take immediate, appropriate action against the respondent No.4 herein for his illegal acts."

Learned Government Pleader placed on record written instructions dated 03.06.2013 issued by the Station House Officer, Kuthnoorpally Police Station, Medak District. From a perusal of the said written instructions, it is revealed that the 3rd respondent never interfered with the life and liberty of the petitioners by summoning them to the police station at any point of time as alleged by them. As on the date of issuance of the written instructions, no criminal case is registered against the petitioners on the file of the 3rd respondent police station. The other allegations levelled by the petitioners against the 3rd respondent are false and baseless.

In the light of the above said specific instructions, this Court is of the opinion that there are no merits in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
