ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the inaction of the 2nd respondent on the representation of the petitioner dated 13.12.2016 and not changing the investigating officer in Cr.No.43 of 2016.

A counter-affidavit is filed on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 stating that based on the complaint lodged by the 5th respondent, Cr.No.166 of 2015 was registered against the petitioner. So far as Cr.No.43 of 2016, which was registered on 13.12.2016 is concerned, as per the orders of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kurnool Range, Kurnool, vide Memo dated 25.1.2017, investigation in Cr.No.43 of 2016 was transferred to Central Crime Station, Kurnool, directing the Deputy Superintendent of Police, CCS, Kurnool, to thoroughly investigate the case and submit a detailed investigation report through the Superintendent of Police, Kurnool, before filing the charge sheet.

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
