Learned counsel for the petitioner would represent that pursuant to the interim order dated 23.05.2007 in WPMP.No.13491 of 2007, the petitioners were considered for interview and interview was also conducted to them, wherein they were declared as disqualified.

In fact, pursuant to the representation made by the learned counsel for respondents in vacate petition in WVMP.No.2021 of 2007 in WPMP.No.13491 of 2007, both the petitions were closed, by order dated 22.10.2007. 4.
In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and the writ petition has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
