Palvai Somaiah v. The State Of Telangana
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WP.No.5347 of 2018 ORDER :
Heard the counsel for petitioners, and the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition for respondents. 2.
The petitioners' grievance is that adequate compensation under the National Highways Act, 1956 has not been paid to petitioners, though land in their occupation with structures and bore-wells, etc., therein have been taken by the respondents for construction of a National Highway.
3.
Admittedly, there is a remedy under Section 3-G of seeking arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 if there is any dispute about payment of compensation.
4.
Therefore, granting liberty to the petitioners to avail the said remedy, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. 5.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
