HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.44130 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider his complaint dated 8.5.2015 and take action in accordance with law.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated in the affidavit that there was a money transaction between the petitioner and respondents Nos.4 and 5 and the petitioner paid the entire amount due to them. While so, in order to grab the property of the parents of the petitioner, they wrongfully confined and threatened the petitioner. The petitioner gave a complaint on 8.5.2015. But no action has been taken so far.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction: "The 3rd respondent is directed to register the complaint given by the petitioner, if such complaint discloses any cognizable offence, and proceed in accordance with law. If the 3rd respondent fails to register the complaint, the petitioner is at liberty to invoke the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure to seek his remedy before the appropriate forum."

There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
